Manchurian Crabapple:  The Manchurian crabapple (\(Malus\;baccata\;var.\;mandshurica\)) is a cold-hardy tree known for its showy spring display of white flowers and its small, red fruit that ripens in the fall. It is native to East Asia and widely grown in North America for its ornamental value and to attract wildlife. The fruit is typically too tart for fresh eating but is excellent for making cider and jams, and it provides food for birds, especially after drying on the tree in winter. (Blooms White, 1/2 Inch, Red to Yellow Fruit) Zone 3-9
